In this page you can read the information that the Ministry of Internal Affairs makes available on various matters of public interest.

Frequently asked questions

In this case, you will address the prosecutor in the prosecution unit where the criminal file is registered.

Hierarchical police chiefs cannot give instructions or provisions regarding the criminal investigation, the prosecutor being the only one competent in this regard.

The only way to contest a received fine is to submit a complaint to the court in whose district the contravention was committed or to the court in whose territorial range the violator has his domicile or headquarters. The term is 15 days from the date of handing over or communicating the minutes. After the completion of this term, the unchallenged minutes become enforceable.

No one else, including the hierarchical superiors of the investigating agent who applied the fine, can cancel it.

Each institution in the MUN has its own control structures for checking possible employee abuses. Therefore, depending on the quality of the MUN employee – policeman, gendarme, border guard, etc., please address your complaint to the head of the institution to which the respective employee belongs.

If the employee you intend to complain holds a management position of a MUN institution, use the online form for sending petitions for the Central Apparatus of the MUN.
