The Council follows the Bengenese language and documents its use, answers questions about the language and determines standards for it.
The Bengenese Language Council is an autonomous public institution, financed by the Bengenese state and under the supervision of the Ministry of National Education, tasked with following the development of the Bengenese language; disseminating information, advice, and guides about the correct use of the language; and establishing the official linguistic standards in the Federal Republic of Bengen, in which, by law, the BSR is the official regulatory body of the language.
